Tracie Howerter
Fractional CFO
Tracie has over 30 years of experience in corporate financial roles in a variety of industries and in companies ranging from multi-billion revenues and global presence to newly minted startups. However, she made a career decision to focus on what she loves and become a fractional CFO…and has never looked back. As a fractional CFO she can lean on her wide ranging experience to offer unique perspective and strategic solutions to help companies meet their goals. At the same time, she can be hands on and partner with all functions of the business to drive company results. In all her roles the best of times has been where she partnered with a collaborative team to drive something bigger than what she could contribute as an individual. Her strength as a financial leader is built on a strong foundation of operational partnership and working with great teams.
Tracie has a B.S. in Economics with a concentration in finance and accounting from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She received her MBA in finance from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She also holds a CPA license (inactive status) from the State of Maryland.
Tracie moved with her husband to Colorado in 2000 and will never leave. She’s now an empty nester (except for two 100+ lb Shiloh Shepherds) and on the weekends you can find them skiing, biking, hiking or camping.
